It is that time of year again. Not only is Chico Unified School District starting this month, but Congregation Beth Israel's religious and Hebrew school, known as Shul School, is starting.

Shul School will be Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at CBI on Hemlock Street (just like last year). The first day of class is Tuesday, August 26. Our school director is Ruth Gordon (just like last year). Curriculum will be tailored to the children's ages, but students will learn Jewish holidays, Jewish themes, Hebrew, Israel, and more. Shul School is educational, fun, and dynamic (just like last year). Shul School is open to returning students and new students, typically 5 to 13 years old. In addition to Tuesdays, the school year will open with a swimming pool/pizza welcome on Sunday, August 24 and a weekend overnight Shabbaton retreat September 5 to September 7. For more information, please contact the CBI office at 530-342-6146 or admin@cbichico.org. You may also contact the Shul School Director Ruth Gordon at 530-891-3481.
