All CBI members in good standing will receive a free High Holiday ticket. Please bring your ticket to all Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Services.
Who is a member in good standing?
You are a member in good standing when you have submitted your completed membership form along with a payment of at least one-tenth of your annual pledge (or one-twelfth of your annual pledge if you’ve committed to make 12 monthly payments).
When will I receive my High Holiday tickets?
You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your form and payment. Your tickets will be available for pick-up at the door.
What if I am not a member of CBI?
Non-members, including guests of members, can purchase tickets at $100 per adult (member and non-member children up through college graduation are free). * The ticket payment can be applied later to membership.
What if I only want to go to just one service?
Each ticket supports Congregation Beth Israel’s general fund. The ticket entitles you to attend all High Holiday services and meals, or just one service if that’s all you choose.
May I give my tickets away if I don’t plan to attend services?
Tickets are Non-Transferrable. Only you can use your ticket.
We prefer that you purchase guest tickets before the Holidays so we don’t have to handle money on these days. Tickets can be purchased at Diamond W Western Wear and Congregation Beth Israel.
If you are unable to purchase your tickets ahead of time, CBI will have people at the door during all the services so that you may purchase tickets. Please make out your check to “CBI” or “Annie B/CBI” and bring it with you.
* CBI continues to welcome people regardless of financial status. To request a ticket price adjustment, please contact CBI Treasurer, Carol Edelman, at cedelman@csuchico.edu by Friday, September 19. We will not be able to make a price adjustment after September 19.
