Danny Siegel will be at CBI from November 7 through November 9 to share his inventive ideas on tikkun olam and tzedakah.
Tzedakah (charity, righteousness) and tikkun olam (repairing the world, social action) are central to our Jewish observance. Danny Siegel is probably the Jewish leader most associated with popularizing ideas like hands-on personalized tzedakah, b'nei mitzvah tzedakah projects, and Mitzvah Heroes. He also promotes micro-philanthropy (doing great good with small amounts of money), and his Ziv Tzedakah fund harnessed contributions as small as $10 adding up to $14 million. Having him in Chico is a great opportunity. Please come and bring your friends, Jewish and others, who are interested in making the world a better place.
