For five years, Shalom Free Clinic Thrift Store has raised money to help support the clinic and has provided valuable outreach to the community. But this time, the store needs some help from the community.

For various reasons, the store has short-staffed for a while, and, as a result, the store needs some serious cleaning and reorganizing to continue operating.

The store is hosting Thrift Store Cleanup Day Sunday, November 2. Volunteers are needed to help sort items, haul items (trucks are needed), move displays around the store, set up displays, clean floors, and dust floors. Volunteers may work one or more two hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Coffee, water, soft drinks, snacks, and a pizza lunch will be served.

If you would like to help, contact Nancy Park at atnballpark@comcast.net or 530-520-4148 (email is preferred) with your e-mail address and phone number. Please RSVP so they have enough refreshments for all volunteers.
