CBI enjoyed a lively Sukkot and Simchat Torah. For Sukkot, there were a variety of programs to attend, from Haverot's Sisters in the Sukkah to Mishpachot's Pizza in the Hut. And who could forget Sukkot Across America? Thanks to a generous grant from the National Jewish Outreach Program, 85 people enjoyed a kosher barbecue, live music by the CBI band, and Israeli dancing. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event possible, especially Tim Carter, who served as sukkah chairman.

For Simchat Torah, attendees unrolled the whole Torah, performed seven hakafot (Torah circuits), and danced with the Torah to music by CBI musicians. Kids received goodies, including chocolate Torahs made by Dawn Rambach. New Shul School students Akiva and Mia did the Consecration ceremony, receiving their model Torahs. Thanks to Wendy Marsters for organizing refreshments.
