Al Abrams to speak on Israel

As part of our “Israel Matters” series, CBI member Al Abrams will speak on “Israel: Fascinating, Foreign, Familiar,” at our Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Al’s talk is inspired by his recent first trip to Israel with wife Sandy. They saw not only the famous and lesser-known sites, but also continually opened up conversations with people they’d met, Jews and Arabs alike. Al found their experience fascinating, foreign, and familiar all at the same time, and Rabbi Danan asked him to share his insights with our community.
